How to keep the board on your side
The board sets objectives every season and one big mandate when you start. Run out of its confidence and no league position will save your job.

Season objectives
Each season brings a few objectives: a prime-time table position, an average prime-time rating, a season profit, brand reputation, being top in one genre, or staying within the debt limit. Each one moves confidence +9 or −11, and winning the season adds +12. Track them at the top of the league screen.

The mandate — how a run ends
The mandate is one of four kinds, drawn at random; difficulty sets the target. Deliver it within 16 seasons (4 years) and the run succeeds; run out of time and it expires.
The first dismissal is a warning: the board installs new management and gives you another go from 48 confidence. A second dismissal ends the run. Bankruptcy ends it before anything else.
